Burnt out
-
This sculpture explores the dynamics of our relationship with work, delving into the complex interplay between the relentless pursuit of productivity and the resulting burnout.
Upon closer inspection, the exhaustion is revealed to be not merely a byproduct of office culture, but rather deeply rooted in our own detrimental egos and a noticeable absence of self-support. In this context, the unplugged electric cord emerges as a powerful symbol of hope, embodying the idea that genuine healing can only take place when one is deliberately disconnected from the source of distress.
Each artwork is produced as a fine art giclée print on luxurious 308 gsm archival Hahnemuhle Photorag paper, chosen for its velvety texture and exceptional detail reproduction. Every print is finished with a uniform 2 cm border that frames the image and allows the artwork to breathe.
The edition number is handwritten in the lower left corner, and each piece is personally signed and embossed by Helga in the lower right. This careful detailing ensures that every print is not just a reproduction, but a crafted object in its own right.
All artworks are shipped unframed and are carefully rolled and packaged in sturdy protective tubes to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. We use Royal Mail for deliveries within the UK and DHL for international orders, allowing you to track your artwork every step of the way.
